MTV HEADBANGER’S BALL – The successful event is going to be continued in 2017! First bands announced!
2016 Continental Concerts called up in cooperation with MTV a huge piece of heavy metal history: the iconic tv show “MTV Headbanger’s Ball” came back to life as a live tour and was shifted into a genuine indoor festival. Now, the successful concept is being continued in 2017 and the line up attests eternalness to the heavy metal genre again.
As the main act MAX and IGGOR CAVALERA are going to play their RETURN TO ROOTS set. The brothers from brazil already wrote an important chapter of heavy metal history: their album „ROOTS“ is still a standard pattern and masterpiece for death- and thrash metal and no real metal fan could get around the line „Roots Bloody Roots“. Even if MAX CAVALERA found his destiny in SOULFLY, this time the brothers assemble again to present their most important work together.
With OVERKILL another legend joins the line up. Hits like „Bring Me The Night“ do their duty while the successful history of Bobby „Blitz“ Ellsworth and his guys is still well underway. After 19 studio albums and their recent work „The Grinding Wheel“ the trash metal musicians are fitter than ever and present their powerful live show at HEADBANGER’s BALL
